Pathfinder teams with Wayne

Wayne Metal Enters Phase II
 

Phase II of a plant wide recycling program, which teamed up Wayne Metals LLC, Markle, and Pathfinder Services Recycling and Refuse Division, Huntington, started on Monday, Oct. 3. Phase II of the program will allow Wayne Metals’ 135,000-square foot facility to receive recycling and refuse service on a regular basis in their production area from one provider. The contract with Wayne Metals implements a three-phase process with the recycling and refuse
division of Pathfinder Services Inc. The goal of the second phase is to increase recycling in the production area of Wayne Metals.
The first phase focused on a recycling program for the office area of Wayne Metals, and began at the beginning of September. The goal of the third and final stage, which is set to begin the first
part of November, will be the removal of the trash compactor from Wayne Metals, replacing it with a smaller dumpster. This will be assisted with the completion of the first two phases.
The program will assist Wayne Metals to meet their ISO14001 Environmental Certification.
