2014 Mission Stories – Tim

Tim CS

Tim

.

Tim moved into Meadowdale Group Home in April of 2014.   Tim has had to adapt to many different situations since this life-changing event and has handled every adjustment wonderfully.  Tim seems to be thriving in his new environment and appears to be a very happy man!

Tim has had the opportunity to experience some new adventures and truly is enjoying life.   He has gone bowling with his friends at Day Services, attended an artistic performance at The Honeywell Center; and visited several parks in the area.  Tim has also has had opportunities to enjoy other events with his housemates who all visited a local Farm;  attended an outing at Long Lake; attended a concert at the Honeywell Center and attended the State Wide SAI Picnic at Eagle Creek Park in Indianapolis in July.  At the SAI picnic Tim had a great time playing games; winning prizes; listening to music; and eating some great cookout food including hamburgers, hotdogs, baked beans, potato salad and yogurt sundaes.  We have   learned Tim enjoys all sports, especially NASCAR, sitting out doors and watching nature, and listening to music-especially Dolly Parton!  He sure hasn’t let being in a wheel chair stop him from enjoying the things he likes.

We are very happy to have Tim join our family at Pathfinder Services.

Guardian Thoughts of Pathfinder Services:

 .

I have had the opportunity over the years to see the services offered by Pathfinder Services and have been the guardian of two clients who Pathfinders serves.

 .

Pathfinder Services had an opening when Tim was in great need of their services and he now is a resident in one of their many group homes.  Tim is a relatively young man and has lots of interests.  Tim also requires constant daily care in order to function.  Pathfinder Services have fulfilled all of his requirements and I thank the good and gracious Lord for making that possible.  The organization is a blessing to those it serves and the community in general.
