ABC Program

Bottle Caps Banner

The ABC PROGRAM is a cap and lid program specifically designed by school children for school children. It is to be a tool in the hands of teachers to teach children about caring for the earth and green living. It must be put through children’s hands and someone must be responsible to see that it is a learning experience for them. Furthermore, the bench needs to belong to the children; it is to be placed where they want it to be placed so they can show others and be proud of what they have accomplished.

We are collecting lids and caps at Pathfinder Kids Kampus, in order to create a bench for the children’s playground. We would appreciate all of the help we can get. It takes 400 pounds of lids to make one bench, and that is the equivalent of 10 – 55 gallon trash bags full. There is a large bin in the hallway, at Pathfinder Kids Kampus, where you can deposit the lids once you start collecting them.
