Explorers is a free year-round program for income eligible children ages six weeks to three years. Each child who attends Early Head Start (EHS) receives child development and health services.
Children have time in the classroom learning, playing, and receiving EHS curriculum to prepare for preschool and kindergarten. There will be one family/child educator visit to the child’s home each month to allow parents to work on child development and family goals.
Explorers offers a preschool environment for learning and socialization and input to EHS Program Administration through the Policy Council. The EHS program offers meals, snacks, and diapers.
