About Kids Kampus

Pathfinder Kids Kampus, the child care division of Pathfinder Services, was created in 1990 to provide an integrated center for all children in Huntington County. Full-time and part-time care is available for children 6 weeks to 12 years of age. Pathfinder Kids Kampus is the premier early learning center in Huntington County. Programs in addition to child care include preschool, Early Head Start for expectant mothers and children birth to 3, school break camps, and an on-site nurse in the Kids Klinic for minor illness care. Pathfinder Kids Kampus engages in partnerships to provide supports to families and focus on the whole child. Collaborative efforts and resources are shared with all community human services agencies throughout Huntington County.

Featured Position

Kids Kampus Business Office Assistant: This position involves the performance of receptionist responsibilities to greet families and public via in person, telephone and/or written correspondence. Employee must be flexible carry out such duties as requested to assist in day to day operation of the Kids Kampus Office.
This position is part time and includes PTO and Sick Time Benefits. This position will also provide assistance and back-up to other administrative staff. Employee provides secretarial and administrative assistance to the Administrator, the Assistant to the Administrator and the staff at Kids Kampus. This position is responsible for the day to day operations of the front desk.

Job Skills Required:
• People Skills/Customer Service Skills are essential
• Ability to multitask and manage time well
• Reliable, Organized, Detail Oriented and Problem Solver
• Compassionate to customers and staff needs
• Proficient with data entry
• Operate office machines (computer, copier, scanning, and calculator)

Job Qualifications
• High School Diploma.
• Two years successful experience in an office setting preferred
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Access
• Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills highly desired
