Kids Kampus Careers
Pathfinder Kids Kampus, the child care division of Pathfinder Services, was created in 1990 to provide an integrated center for all children in Huntington County. Full-time and part-time care is available for children 6 weeks to 12 years of age. Pathfinder Kids Kampus is the premier early learning center in Huntington County. Programs in addition to child care include preschool, Early Head Start for expectant mothers and children birth to 3, school break camps, and an on-site nurse in the Kids Klinic for minor illness care. Pathfinder Kids Kampus engages in partnerships to provide supports to families and focus on the whole child. Collaborative efforts and resources are shared with all community human services agencies throughout Huntington County.
Kids Kampus Administrator: Responsible for the administration of programs and services at Kids Kampus. Assures that a comprehensive approach, effective curriculum and positive teaching techniques are utilized to meet the individual needs of each child and family allowing them to reach their highest potential.
Seeks to develop new services for children meeting the needs on an individual as well as community basis. Assures compliance with applicable State Department of Public Welfare, Paths to QUALITY, Department of Education, Office of Head Start Performance Standards, and Indiana Rules for Licensing Child Care Centers codes and regulations.
Oversees the development and implementation of corporate-wide privacy principles, policies and practices. Responsible for coordinating all Kampus activities with privacy implications, as well as monitoring all of the Kampus’s services and systems to assure meaningful privacy practices. Advocates and protects child, family and client privacy by serving as a key privacy advisor for them.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary and/or Special Education with an emphasis on Early Childhood Education.
Preferably has at least three years successful experience in working with children and administration
- Ability to work independently, exercise initiative and supervise others.
Kids Kampus Substitute Teacher: This position involves providing a structured program assuring the social emotional, physical and developmental needs of individual children. Hours will vary, but must be available for shifts between 5:30am – 6pm.
- Must be 18 years of age or at least 21 years of age to work with Infants and Toddlers.
- High School Diploma or GED with interest in receiving CDA Credential or CDA equivalent coursework; or College Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or ElementaryEducation.
- Prefer past experience working with children. Ability to lift children and equipment.
- General knowledge of nutrition, health, and first aid.
