Making A Difference

Welcome to our newsletter! We hope you will enjoy browsing through our featured stories, recent news and upcoming events. We look forward to sharing with you monthly how we are all Making a Difference in the lives of those we serve.

Prosperity: Happiness and Health

After living as refugees in Malaysia for a year and a half, Paul, his wife and their four children were relocated to the United States. Their life in Malaysia had been full of fear and concern. “As soon as we landed in this country,” Paul said, “we were so happy.” Though a new life in America seemed full of endless possibilities, owning a home still felt out of reach.

When Paul arrived in America, he was one of many immigrants fleeing Burma for Fort Wayne. His first desire when he arrived was to find a place for his family to learn more about the culture and language. The First Assembly of God church provided an English as a second language class and helped them acclimate to American culture.

How YOU Can Make a Difference

Even shopping at Amazon Smile, purchasing pies or donating services to fulfill a dream are all simple ways you can make a difference in the lives of those we serve.

Support a Dream Request

Earle is hoping to attend the Killer Queen concert at the Honeywell Center in July.  Chester would like to take an art class.  Morgan and her family would like to visit Brown County.  While a direct monetary donation can fulfill our many dream requests, we love it when local businesses and individuals provide donations of their services, talents, or tickets to make these dreams happen.  For more details on how you can help dreams come true, contact us at 260-355-2573.

Purchase Gifts with Meaning

Pathfinder OutSource Manufacturing offers unique, customized gifts for every occasion.  Let us take your favorite photos and put them on functional and decorative items such as key chains, mugs, shirts, coasters and more.

Volunteer

Do you have some extra time on your hands?  Do you enjoy rocking babies or reading to young children?  Or maybe you’re a grandparent whose grandchildren live too far away and you just miss hearing the laughter of a child.  If so, we would love to talk with you about volunteer opportunities at Pathfinder Kids Kampus. If you are interested in volunteering your time at Kids Kampus, our Creative Abilities art studio, or as natural support for those we serve, please contact us at 260-355-2573 or [email protected]
