Pathfinder Community Connections Transitional Housing Program Honors WTCA-AM 1050

Pathfinder Community Connections Transitional Housing program honored WTCA-AM 1050 in Plymouth with a Community Partner award for their dedication to the organization.

Beth Stevens, Family Self Sufficiency Coordinator, and Tami Benson, Transitional Housing Support Specialist for Pathfinder Community Connections presented the award to Kathy Bottorff of WTCA AM 1050.

In 2008, WTCA made Christmas very special for the families in the Transitional Housing program in the Plymouth area. The radio station delivered gift baskets full of food as well as toys and clothes to the families in the Transitional Housing program. The families spoke of their children receiving the “perfect” gift from Santa that they did not think they could afford at Christmas. The radio station hand delivered these gifts to the families’ homes and even recruited the mayor of Plymouth to assist last year.
