The 19th Annual Kids Kampus Golf Outing, sponsored by David Culp and Co., S.S. Peter and Paul’s Catholic Church, and First Federal Savings Bank, was held Wednesday, May 26, at LaFontaine Golf Club.
First place in the outing went to the team of Jeff Fabini, Bruce Blaylock, Jim Buchholz and Jody Kinsey with a score of 59. Jeff Wing, Cris Morrissey, Brian Kline and Michelle Smith came in second place with a score of 60. Third place went to the team of Pete Schownir, John Mignone, Lisa Geller and Megan Morrison with a score of 61.
Meghan Lawson had the closest to the pin on the second hole, Don Cozad had the closest to the pin on the fifth hole, Lee Pasko had the closest to the pin on the fourteenth hole and Tony Hunnicut had the closest to the pin on the seventeenth hole. The longest drive award on the fifteenth hole went to Michelle Smith, and the longest putt on the eighteenth hole was made by Scott Atkinson. The skins game winners were Kevin Lemier, Larry Rich, Dave Coverdale and Greg Coppleman tied with Jeff Fabini, Bruce Blaylock, Jim Buchholz and Jody Kinsey.
The Annual Kids Kampus Golf Outing is held to raise funds for the scholarship fund to assist low-income families with tuition for their children and to assist in the purchase of supplies for the classrooms of the child care center. Kids Kampus would like to thank everyone who participated, sponsored and volunteered for this year’s Golf Outing.
