The 22nd Annual Kids Kampus Golf Outing, sponsored by David Culp and Co., S.S. Peter and Paul’s Catholic Church, and First Federal Savings Bank, was held Wednesday, May 22nd at LaFontaine Golf Club.
First place in the outing went to the team of Tim Wing, David Ross, Michelle Smith, and Neil Kline with a score of 55. The David Culp & Co. team of Dan Boyle, Jim Sprinkle, Steve Pfister and Barry Christen finished in second place with a score of 58. Third place went to the Huntington University team of Pete Schownir, John Mignone, Adrian Halverstadt and Rick DeLaney with a score of 61.
Allen Brouwer had the closest to the pin on the second hole, Dan Beard had the closest to the pin on the fifth hole, Rick DeLaney had the closest to the pin on the fourteenth hole and Pete Schownir had the closest to the pin on the seventeenth hole. The longest putt on the eighteenth hole was made by Pete Schwonir.
The Annual Kids Kampus Golf Outing is held to raise funds for the child care center and raised approximately $11,000. Pathfinder Kids Kampus would like to thank the 18 teams who participated, and 51 hole sponsors along with everyone else who donated door prizes and volunteered for this year’s Golf Outing.
The 2014 Pathfinder Kids Kampus golf outing will take place on Wednesday, May 14th with a shotgun start beginning at 12:30 P.M. at Lafontaine Golf Club.
