Pathfinder Kids Kampus Annual Golf Outing to take place at LaFontaine Golf Club on May 23rd

Pathfinder Kids Kampus Child Care Center in Huntington will hold its 21st Annual Golf Outing on Wednesday May 23rd. The fundraising event, sponsored by David Culp and Company, will take place at LaFontaine Golf Club, 6129 North Goshen Road, Huntington. Registration and a lunch sponsored by Saint’s Peter and Paul’s Catholic Church begin at 11:30 A.M., with a 12:30 P.M. shotgun start.

The cost for the Outing will be $65 per golfer and $260 per team and hole sponsorships are available for $100. Kids Kampus is happy to pair golfers with teams if they do not have one. Also, new this year is online registration for the event by visiting

A contest for a chance to win $5,000 sponsored by First Federal Savings Bank of Huntington will take place-allowing participants in the outing to take one swing for the chance to win. If a hole in one occurs on hole #5 the winning golfer will receive $5,000 and Pathfinder Kids Kampus will receive $5,000 as well! Certain restrictions will apply with the hole-in-one contest. In addition to the hole-in-one contest, a chip shot raffle will take place this year on hole #18. One lucky golfer will have the chance to swing for $1,000 from 90 feet from the hole.

On Wednesday, May 2nd Bill Miller from David Culp & Co., Steven McKay with First Federal Savings Bank, Patrick Davis from LaFontaine Golf Club and Lisa Mettler with Pathfinder Kids Kampus along with children from Pathfinder Kids Kampus posed with a giant check at LaFontaine Golf Club.

At the Outing an auction will be held following the golf event. Items included in this year’s auction will be getaway packages to Cincinnati including Kings Island and Cincinnati Reds tickets and more, Indianapolis including Children’s Museum tickets and more! Over 100 items will be raffled off at the event. Other items for auction and raffle include Holiday World Amusement Park tickets, autographed basketball from Purdue University’s Men’s Basketball coach Matt Painter, and an autographed football from Purdue University’s Football Coach Danny Hope, three hanging flower baskets donated by Jim Scheiber, and more! All proceeds from this year’s Golf Outing will go to Pathfinder Kids Kampus.
