Pathfinder Services Offering Financial Peace University Beginning January 15th

Pathfinder Services, Inc., a comprehensive human and community development organization, will be offering Financial Peace University classes beginning on Saturday, January 15th. Classes will be held on Saturday mornings at 9:00 A.M. beginning January 15th and running through April 9th. Classes will take place at the Pathfinder Services North Campus located at 2824 Theater Avenue in Huntington.

Financial Peace University is a 13-week personal money management class held across the country. The class is taught by Dave Ramsey on DVD, followed by engaging workshop activities and discussions. Groups will learn, laugh, and maybe even cry a little as they work together to beat debt and build wealth.

Over 500,000 families have enrolled in Financial Peace University. The average family completing the program pays off $5,300 in debt and saves $2,700 in the first 91 days. The course will teach those enrolled how to:

  • determine what types of insurance are needed,
  • understanding 403b’s, Roth IRA’s, stocks and bonds and other retirement investments,
  • save for an emergency,
  • get out of debt and STAY out of debt,
  • control money instead of money controlling you,
  • start a college fund for your children,
  • get more bang for your buck,
  • give generously to others,
  • and much more!

Financial Peace University now allows participants to come to the first class for free and sign up at the end of the class to continue the rest of the classes. The cost of Financial Peace University is $99.
