HUNTINGTON, IN – Pathfinder Services will hold the 15th Annual Kids Kampus Turkey Trot 5K Run / 1 Mile Walk on Thanksgiving morning, November 28, at 8 a.m. Registration is now open and all proceeds go to Kids Kampus in support of the children and families served.
“The Turkey Trot has become a Thanksgiving tradition for so many families,” says Pathfinder Services President and CEO John Niederman. “We are so grateful to everyone involved because it really takes the entire community to make this a successful event.”
Money raised through the event provides financial support so all children can benefit from the educational and nurturing environment provided at Kids Kampus.
“We can’t think of a better way to kick off a day of giving thanks than to support this wonderful event,” says Britt Sather, owner of host sponsor McDonald’s of Huntington. “We gather together as a community to help our future generation get a great head start in life.”
Registration for the 15th Annual Kids Kampus Turkey Trot is available online at https://pathfinderservices.org/. The first 1,100 registrants receive a shirt and cinch bag.
Cost of the event is $20 until November 26 and $25 the day before and the day of the event.
In 2018, there were 1,104 participants and a little more than $30,000 was raised for Pathfinder Kids Kampus.
