Pathfinder Services, Inc. is participating in the 2013 National Direct Support Professionals Recognition Week, September 9th – 13th, by recognizing and thanking all of their Direct Support Professionals for their service. Each Direct Support Professional will be given a Pathfinder Services gift each day as a reminder of the appreciation for all they do to impact the lives of the clients they serve.
Pathfinder Services employs 378 Direct Support Professionals who act as mentors, teachers, and offer support to teens and adults with Intellectual Disabilities. The Direct Support Professional provides assistance in the home, at work and/or in the community to help the those served reach their ultimate potential while taking into consideration his or her personal dreams and goals. Sandy Wing, Director of the Community Supports Division of Pathfinder Services stated, “We truly appreciate all that this dedicated and hard-working team does to improve the lives of those we serve. While we are grateful every day for their contributions, we enjoy celebrating our Direct Support Professionals during this special week.”
