Pathfinder Services Wears Purple in Support of Disability Awareness Month

Pathfinders Wears Purple

Clients and staff at Pathfinder Services in Huntington wore purple on March 21st to celebrate Disability Awareness Month.    Self Advocates of Indiana encouraged everyone to wear purple to show their spirit in honor of self-advocacy, awareness, and celebrating ability.  The purpose of Disability Awareness Month is to educate the general public about all disabilities – physical, cognitive and developmental – as well as celebrate the contributions and achievements of those with disabilities.
