The focus of this year’s program is to get students thinking about their financial futures and to teach them the basic financial concepts such as, earning, saving and budgeting money.
“The goal of this year’s Youth Financial Literacy program is to get middle school students thinking about and working on a written spending plan and focusing on saving money,” stated Trish Feightner, Office Manager at Pathfinder Community Connections. “We will teach students the importance of saving for their education, cars, new apartment or house and how setting savings goals are an important way to achieve this. We would like to thank Wells Fargo for funding this program again this year and for their continued support of our organization” concluded Feightner.
Students must have a parent or guardian’s consent to complete the application which can be found at www.cchomes.org. For questions please contact Trish Feigthner at 260-456-2385 Ext. 3602 or by e-mailing her at [email protected].
