As summer is wrapping up and we are heading into fall, it is time to announce the next winner of our monthly GEM (Going the Extra Mile) Award! “Gia is one of our amazing subs. She is a dependable and caring employee. I have seen her encourage the individuals she is working with to have a voice and create ownership in their lives. Recently, Gia was very instrumental in assisting me close and move all four ladies from our Guilford Street location. She assisted the ladies on packing up the entire house, made many trips to Goodwill, and helped organize each of the ladies’ moves so they would run smoothly. She completed all these tasks at the same time while being a listening ear for the ladies to process their new futures and not living together anymore while completing daily routines and activities. I could not have done it without her!”
