September GEM Award Winner!
Congratulations to our September GEM Award recipient, Amanda Randel!
“Amanda is more than deserving of the GEM Award! She is constantly going above and beyond her job duties to make sure that all of our properties, facilities, and maintenance are where they need to be. You can find her just about at every location in every county making sure things are in tip top shape. Not only does Amanda go the extra mile in her regular job duties, you can also see the ways she cares about and advocates for our people we support. She completed the six-month training to become a PCT Coach, and she has found creative ways to support the people in the Wabash Office in the ways that are important to and important for them. Recently, we held a two-day PCT training session in the Wabash Office, and Amanda was so helpful and generous with her time to make sure we had the room in order with all of the furniture set up and everything we needed. We went from a completely empty room to a room where we were able to host a training thanks to Amanda. She also went above and beyond to pick up our lunch order for our group of trainees and drop it off to us. It is easy to see the ways that she embodies our Pathfinder values of contribution, empowerment, and people first. While Amanda is very busy with all sorts of tasks, she does not forget the purpose of why we are here, which is our people. She is kind, empathetic, and generous with her time, which is so noticeable when you see her talking and hanging out with our people. Thank you, Amanda, for all that you do and for who you are!”
