July GEM Award Winner!

Another month has flown by, and that means it is time to announce our next GEM Award recipient! We are encouraged by so many stories of people going the extra mile in so many different ways. And now for the moment of truth...


Congratulations to our October GEM Award recipient, Kristen Prater!


"Last week, we had to emergency place all three individuals at Sunnyside to their new homes on Lincoln Highway in Plymouth. Kristen has gone above and beyond to help me move them to the new house. She has come in way before her shift to help move furniture and items just so the guys would feel more comfortable since maintenance could not get to it for a while. She has been a considerable team player when it comes to helping whenever she can and volunteering hours to do outings for the individuals when other staff were not interested. She has volunteered to pick up many shifts for staff when they need time off and ensures all individuals are always well cared for."
