I look forward to meeting you. Together, we'll make a meaningful difference.
Best regards,

An Event to Inspire Change
Artistic creation holds immense transformative power for artists, providing a medium for self-expression, personal growth, and emotional release. Through art, artists can connect, challenge norms and bridge cultural gaps. Despite this, the stigma against artists with disabilities persists. For nearly a decade, we've nurtured inclusion across Northeast Indiana, fostering growth and empowerment for these artists. Like artists Kaylee and Trena, art enables individuals to flourish and contribute to society. Our annual Toast to the Arts event not only raises funds for art studios but also propels disabled artists into the public eye, advancing inclusion and advocacy. Art's impact radiates beyond creators, stirring emotions and spurring societal change. We invite you to join us in shaping a more inclusive art world through events like Toast to the Arts, where art's profound influence touches hearts and minds.

Beyond acquiring keys, Pathfinder stands as a long-term ally, offering continuous support and cultivating a network of empowered homeowners. The profound impact is exemplified by a single mother's testimonial, her transformation from struggle to owning a custom-built home echoing the core purpose of Pathfinder – to turn dreams into reality and foster enduring change.

Commitment to Change
Pathfinder's Investment in PCT Training
Person Centered Thinking is something we've set out to set us apart and integrate into Pathfinder culture. PCT comprises a set of value-based skills that result in seeing people differently and gives us a way of acting on what is learned. It is essential lifestyle planning identifies basic skills and tools that help learners understand and embrace this way of thinking. Our Continuous Improvement Director, Christina West started in November 2022. She began her new role by making PCT a priority at Pathfinder. This included coordinating the training completion of 2 new PCT trainers (Brittanny Herber and Lauren Frischman) and 27 new Person-Centered coaches' agency-wide which took place over the last 6 months. In addition to these accomplishments, there will be three PCT mentors that will be fully credentialed by the end of 2023.
Tashema Davis’ Tribute to the African American Journey
We invite the community to immerse themselves in this compelling art exhibit and experience the captivating world of "The Hood" and “June” by Tashema Davis. The exhibit will be open to the public. Opening reception will be August 18th (7pm-9pm) through September 30th. It will be a must-see for art enthusiasts and those seeking to celebrate the richness of African American culture.
Through her vivid paintings, she aims to provide a glimpse into the experiences of black men, celebrating their manhood, childhood, and fatherhood from the lens of an African American. She seeks to challenge negative stereotypes and perceptions by offering a truthful and authentic portrayal of the black male experience. "The Hood" is a tribute to black men's strength and resilience, rising above stereotypes and showcasing the humanity and beauty that lies within. Davis' artwork evokes a sense of freedom and inspiration for viewers, encouraging them to embrace the power of art and its capacity to transform lives.
Coffee Club
Coffee is the lifeblood for many people. It wakes us up, gets us going, or helps us make it through the day. Coffee shops and coffee dates are a dime a dozen, but the Pathfinder Arts and Entrepreneurial Center (PAEC) hosts a truly unique coffee shop option. The PAEC is bursting at the seams with new programs and offerings. Coffee Club is a prime example. Amidst the beautiful artwork lining the gallery walls, they have a cozy café space with a weekly meet-up. Every Wednesday from 9 am-10 am, PAEC and Pathfinder Council host Coffee Club, a program uniquely designed to create an inclusive home for coffee lovers and provide meaningful career-building opportunities for adults supported by Pathfinder Services. Few spaces can compete with the PAEC; throw in gallery displays, coffee, and the most welcoming coffee lovers, and it’s a slam dunk. We encourage all coffee fans to stop by on Wednesday and experience it for yourselves.
