Congratulations to our December GEM Award recipient, Genelle Hewlett!

“I am nominating Genelle for this award because of the amount of team support and cooperation I have seen recently. Genelle is going above and beyond to help support the entire disability services team with the eMAR transition. Genelle has stepped forward several times over the last month to help her team meet deadlines and finish projects. Genelle has taken the initiative to jump into the eMAR system and not only learn the system capabilities but anticipate staff questions and find answers.”

“Genelle always goes above and beyond to help those we support. She has also been a fabulous mentor to me. Always willing to teach me things and never acts like my stupid questions are stupid, which I'm sure that is extremely hard at times. Genelle is all around an amazing person and this company is extremely lucky to have her. One day, I was called to work as a DSP at a house that had no one scheduled, and it was about time for afternoon pick up. I was at a medical appointment, and the individual I was with needed taken back to his house afterwards, and I also had to then go get the other guys. I got to the house and the door was locked, and I had no way to get the person in the house. I called Genelle, and she went and got the guys and got in touch with someone to come let us in the house. She was amazing. This is just one day. She goes above and beyond every day to help everyone we support.”
