VITA tops IRS review!

Great job, Angie, Fran, and their volunteers, John and Linda.

I wanted to share their successful SURPRISE site visit from the IRS. I want you to know how proud I am of our small dedicated team who makes up VITA. To receive a 100% during the visit amidst the home stretch of processing tax returns and while living in cramped quarters is fantastic!

Most importantly, the four improved the lives of nearly 900 (possibly more) people by saving them hundreds of dollars in tax prep fees had they gone elsewhere. This job isn’t always fun or appreciated, but it is important to Huntington and Wabash Counties. So, I wanted to let everyone know what mission-based gems we have in our VITA program.
